Year 13 Leavers Day 2026

Year 13 Leavers’ Day was a truly memorable occasion, marking an important milestone for our students as they prepare for their final examinations and to move on to their next steps. The day was filled with celebration, reflection and a strong sense of community. Students came together to share memories of their time in the Sixth Form, enjoying a warm and uplifting atmosphere that recognised both their achievements and the friendships they have built along the way. As ever, the creativity on display did not disappoint—fancy dress ranged from minions and inflatable dinosaurs to the standout duo of Marty McFly and Doc from Back to the Future, adding plenty of fun and personality to the day. A beautiful Leavers’ Mass provided a moment for reflection, with music playing a central role and several heartfelt renditions of the school song were heard throughout the day. Speeches also struck just the right balance of humour and sincerity, perfectly capturing the spirit of the year group. Events like this don’t happen without a great deal of care and commitment behind the scenes, and the success of the day reflects the dedication of the whole school community in supporting our students throughout their journey. As our Year 13s now turn their focus fully to their final examinations, we wish them every success in the weeks ahead. Although students are now on study leave, teachers will be available in their usual classrooms during normal lesson times for revision support—students are warmly encouraged to come in and make the most of this opportunity. This is the final stretch, and we know our Year 13s will approach it with the determination and resilience they have shown throughout their time with us. We wish you all the very best of luck and look forward to celebrating with you at Prom.
