Mock Exam timetables November 2025
Year 11 and 13 Mock Exam Timetable November 2025
Exam Contingency Day:
Wednesday 24 June (all day) 2026
The awarding bodies have designated Wednesday 24 June (all day) 2026 as ‘contingency days’ for examinations.
The designation of a ‘contingency day’ within the common examination timetable is in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations in the United Kingdom. It is part of the awarding bodies’ standard contingency planning for examinations.
Centres must therefore remind candidates that they must remain available until Wednesday 24 June 2026 should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan. This should be factored into their plans, including for holidays and the availability of exam accommodation.
Summer 2026 Examination Results
The Department for Education have confirmed that results for summer 2026 exams will be on 13 August 2026 for AS/A-levels and 20 August 2026 for GCSEs.
Please be advised that all Exam results must be collected in person by the candidate. However, where a candidate is unable to do so they may send a representative on their behalf. The person collecting the results will need to show a valid photo-id together with a signed letter from the candidate authorising them to collect the results. The authorised person will be asked to sign for the collection of the results on the day.
